The club have been actively involved in various activities that have been taking place within the Mombasa Island including: Tree planting, Beach clean-ups and educating people on how to keep envornment clean to prevent diseases.
The club also maintains the green beautiful landscape and flower gardens of the school thus making the Ganjoni Primary School a cool place comfortable for learning.
This has contributed alot in the excellent academic performance of the students. KEEP IT UP MR KAMWALO
Tree Planting Activities To Conserve The Environment
It was on a Saturday morning that we the environment club gathered at around 8.00 am ready to go to Bamburi Haler Park where we were to join in a campaign of planting 1 billion trees to conserve our environment. Together with our environmental teacher, Mr. Gachemi who is also our computer teacher. The other teacher Mr. Kamwalo had traveled thus Mr. Salim, the senior teacher joined us.
Mr. Gachemi had organized the school bus to take us and at around 9.00 am, he called the roll call to make sure we were all there and boarded the bus and headed to Haller Park. The following were those who attended the activity all from class 6:

We were the first school to arrive and tree planting started. We all worked hard and within one hour, every pupil had planed at least 50 seedlings. By the end of the activity, Ganjoni Primary Environment club had planted over 1,500 trees.
From there we headed to Makupa where the municipal council of Mombasa brought more seedlings. We planted along KAFOKA, Tudor, and we together with a group of volunteers headed to GANJONI PRIMARY where Mr. Gachemi had organized tree planting activity at the school.
The headteacher Mr. Mkula was the first to set the pace for the others. He worked close with them portlaying a heart felt gratitude to the environment club and the other environmentalists.
